So Matthew's been working here at the store for quite awhile, six years! So logically even if he is rather quiet and keeps to himself I figure he will have at least known a few people. If not made a few friends along the way. More recently Al's been hired on and it's driving him a little over the edge with irritation. Every time that Segway zooms by he gets a new nervous tick in his temple. So there's definitely a side of him people haven't seen before. Or even if he knew someone outside of the store before they were hired on. Maybe they could be his one close friend or something of that nature?
I don't have much in way of ideas, but I could cook something up if anyone wants to give it a shot! :3

I'd be game for something like that Lars is a pretty quiet guy himself so he'd be a pretty good guy to vent frustrations on and he has been at the store for five years himself so I'm sure Lars and Matthew have interacted at some point.

Francis has been working here for five years or so already as well, so I'm sure he'd know Matthew.
And seeing as it's Francis, he probably annoys almost every employer at some point.
I was wondering if maybe they could be friends? even though personalities don't really match.
I don't have an idea for a thread yet, but maybe we can come up with something together.
(oh and me and gilly are going to steal Alfred's segway :'D )

That sounds great! :3 I could see them being rather close since they're both pretty quiet. Maybe they were just acquaintances who just spoke in the break room every one in awhile and then Matt needed to vent to someone one day before the end of work? ouo So they go get coffee and just hang out afterwords or something? I can see them becoming close~
Thank god someone did it. They could be friends! Are you maybe interested in the friends before work thing? :3 Maybe Matthew could passive aggressively get on that segway stealing too. >3

Also- change of plans we uhm...we're going to sort of crash the segway into one of the cash registers when Mattie's working : D

Hmmmm. I was going to say in highschool, but Francis is a little too old for that to have happen. Matthew goes snowboarding on the weekends~ Maybe Francis was stopped by a cafe near the resort Matt snowboards at and saw him outside? Or Matthew could walk into the cafe after a fun day and feeling a little adventurous for once he sat down in Francis' booth?
If Francis would even be there of course. >< Maybe we could have a thread that happened in the past and let it pan out? :3
Crashing the segway into Matt's registers? omg that sounds like the best thing ever. do it
