((While strolling through the park one day~ In the merry merry month of May~))
He was staring. He really shouldn't be, but Tino couldn't help it. It wasn't often he came across two guys so comfortable with...expressing (was that even the right word?) their feelings in public. And so passionately and openly at that. Tino knew he was blushing. That much was obvious and it made the whole thing a lot more awkward. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to tear his eyes away from the couple.
The blonde was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts when he felt something tug at the leash in his hand. His loyal white dog, Hanatamago, looked up at him expectantly, pulling impatiently at her leash again to urge her owner to stop staring and walk her already. "Sorry, Hana..." He apoligized, smiling sheepishly, his blush disappearing once he resumed walking, his dog trotting along beside him.
Looking around, Tino saw that the park was full of people today. He wondered how his colleagues spent their Sunday mornings. Did any of them have pets to take care of like he did? It would be nice if he could find a friend for Hana to play with! She must get so lonely, the poor thing. Sure, she had lots of toys and stuff, the Finn simply loved to spoil her with new gifts and treats, but...
The old lady was there again today, surrounded by pigeons like always. Tino winced when she gave him a dark glare as they passed. He tried giving her what he hoped was a friendly smile, but what probably came out as more of a grimace. Everyday, without fail, she was there, sitting on that very same bench and attracting yet another horde of pigeons. It didn't really bother him that much, except that sometimes she gave him a glare that made him want to just crawl into a hole and die. And then there were those moments where she would just stare at him.
The urge to yawn hit the blonde like a train, as did the sudden craving for coffee, and he quickly lifted a hand to cover his open mouth. "Ehh, so tired..." he mumbled to himself, "I can't believe you guilted me into walking you, Hana. It's way too early in the morning... I should be at home right now sleeping!" Out of the corner of his eye he saw that some people were giving him weird looks and chuckled. They must think he was mad, talking to his dog like she was a person! At some point he paused to gaze up at the clear blue sky. The weather was nice today, he noticed. After yet another yawn, he felt his eyes close and he stood there for a moment, the cool breeze gently brushing against his skin.
